It’s very painful to look at how this drug has negatively impacted everyone in the addict’s circle of friends and family. I’m feeling that recovery will be both challenging and rewarding for the crystal meth addict. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience, strength and hope.

  1. Depression is a given. Just hang in there .But if you feel suicidal get help.

  2. Feeling like you cant function right, feeling empty and like something is missing will be there. Also some depresion, mood issues posibly. Cravings for it will be awfull but after a while they will lesson. If you went to a rehabilitaion center then you are usually able to go one a week or so, that is very helpfull and you get lots of support and encouragement. Do that its great. It will be hard but eventually you will be in controll of your life again. Ive been in recovery now for 6months and i am so happy this person decided to quit, its a really good thing. Good luck and i wish the best for them. Have lots of faith in yourself!
