I am researching something and I was wondering if someone who is using a drug for about a year, can he destroy his health and have sympthoms like he is having aids? Is it possible? I mean if someone is on crystal meth and heroin for a long time, can he that way completely ruin his immune system and his health so he dies like he has aids?
Im not talking about overdose
But can drugs make you look exactly like you have aids( destroy your immune system and then it looks like you got aids) and then you get pneumonia and die from it, and doctors say you died from aids?

You can die from sharing needles and stuff, and you can die from other reasons associated with drugs like developing an imbalance due to addiction. Drugs can destroy your immune system as well, but you can’t just die from drugs in a non-overdose situation.
