Can Someone Die From Drugs(not Overdose)?

Question by TheTargaryen: Can someone die from drugs(not overdose)?
I am researching something and I was wondering if someone who is using a drug for about a year, can he destroy his health and have sympthoms like he is having aids? Is it possible? I mean if someone is on crystal meth and heroin for a long time, can he that way completely ruin his immune system and his health so he dies like he has aids?
Im not talking about overdose
But can drugs make you look exactly like you have aids( destroy your immune system and then it looks like you got aids) and then you get pneumonia and die from it, and doctors say you died from aids?

You can die from sharing needles and stuff, and you can die from other reasons associated with drugs like developing an imbalance due to addiction. Drugs can destroy your immune system as well, but you can’t just die from drugs in a non-overdose situation.

Before you start pointing fingers and declaring that none of these rehab treatments really work, look again. Each case of addiction is different from another, and there are other factors which may have caused the rehab failure.

Is Crystal Meth Recovery Still Possible?

If you have a loved one who’s suffering from crystal meth addiction, and you’re the first hand business of its negative effects, it’s only too easy to still think that is no longer possible. It is, but there are some factors you’ll have to meet. For example, the most successful cases are those which have been reported early. Also, the patients who successfully underwent made the choice to get better themselves. This explains the high rate of recovering crystal meth addicts who have experienced relapses. If they keep on resisting their counseling sessions during their programs, of course it’s not going to work.
